The road is long, with many a winding turn....and yet it is so amazingly beautiful.
The vista before me is breathtaking. The view behind me is equally so.
I have climbed above the valley and as I look back I no longer see
the marshes, muck, and mire that I know are there.
I see instead the beauty of the journey.
I have learned so much and the most important lesson I have learned is to always be grateful. Without gratitude, I have nothing, for I would forget to see
those things I have and would see instead what I am lacking.
I lack nothing.
My needs are met.
I am grateful.
The compensatory blessings I have received have been immeasurable.
My children and I have been greatly blessed by the hand of the Lord.
That is not to say it has been easy, but it definitely has been worth it.
The Lord has always put me where I need to be to benefit from His tender mercies.
He loves me still...
